We spend about a third of our lives sleeping, so beds are really important to us. Choosing a comfortable bed is important, but comfort alone won’t attract others. Take a look at these crazy beds below!


Technology

1. Magnetic Suspension Bed

Designed by Dutch architect Janjaap Ruijssenaars, this magnetically suspended bed is equipped with enough magnets to support a weight of 900 kg. To ensure that the bed does not float away due to strong winds or strange movements, the four corners of the bed are tied to the ground with ropes.


2. Sleeping Tomorrow

The Sleeping Tomorrow bed was designed by the famous designer Axel Enthoven and exhibited at the Cologne Furniture Fair in 2013. Its biggest feature is that optical fiber and copper yarn are woven into the fabric of the mattress, so that it can sense whether the sleeper is hot or cold.


3. Space Floor

This semi-open high-tech Cosmos bed by Russian designer Natalia Rumyantseva comes with an audio system so you can listen to your favorite music while you sleep. You can also set an alarm. Therapeutic LED lighting system and aroma diffuser allow you to relax before bed.


4. Lomme Egg Bed

The egg-shaped Lomme bed was launched by the famous Liechtenstein design brand Cycle 13 at 100% Design London in 2008 and uses sound and light therapy to help people sleep better.


5. A bed to treat insomnia

Designed by French designer Mathieu Lehanneur to treat insomnia, the Once Upon a Dream bed helps users fall asleep through a series of actions: first, the bed curtains close automatically; then, the temperature and light levels are gradually lowered, while soft white noise is emitted to block out external sounds.


6. Modern wave bed

Want to watch a movie comfortably in bed? No problem, this modern wavy bed can satisfy you. It is available in men's and women's styles, and also comes with a computer desk function.

1. Moody Nest

Designed by German designer Hanna Emelie Ernsting, the Moody Nest offers an ultimate sense of comfort, warmth and privacy. With its foam base and quilted textile cover, you can play with this bed as you please.


2. COLLAR

This COLLETTO bed was designed by Nu?a Jelenec. The soft foam ring wrapped around the mattress can be rolled up and down at will, making it very comfortable and warm.

The PHAT KNITS knitted bed was created by Dutch designer Bauke Knottnerus and is made of elastic knitted fabric, which is very soft and comfortable.

This molecular bed designed by Animi Causa is composed of 120 balls wrapped in elastic fabric. Its shape is very novel and its design is inspired by the molecular structure. You can give full play to your imagination and creativity to form it into any shape you like or feel comfortable.

This modernist-looking device is called SleepBox, and it was designed by Swiss designer Caspar Lohner specifically for taking naps.

1. Canopy Bed

This elegant Enignum canopy bed was designed by Irish designer Joseph Walch. The silk canopy can be customized to suit the season.

This elegant Forever bed was designed by Slovenian designer Nika Zupanc. The bed can be folded into a cabinet, and it is a lockable cabinet.
