1. When moving furniture , lift it gently and do not drag or pull it. When placing furniture, make sure it is flat and stable. If the ground is uneven, make sure to padded the legs to prevent damage to the mortise and tenon structure.

2. Furniture should not be exposed to strong sunlight or placed in excessively dry areas to prevent the wood from cracking and warping.

3. Furniture should not be placed in very humid places , otherwise the wood will swell when exposed to moisture and will easily rot over time, and drawers will also become difficult to open.

4. Do not place heavy objects on top of wardrobes and other furniture, otherwise the doors will bulge and not close properly; clothes should not be piled up too much and should not extend beyond the doors to prevent them from deforming.

5. Furniture made of plywood should never be washed with water or wiped with a damp cloth, and should never be soaked in alkaline water to prevent the plywood from coming apart and delaminating.

6. If furniture has cracks, you can mix putty and paint, then fill the cracks with the mixture to prevent further damage. However, be careful to ensure that the putty and paint match the original paint color to avoid leaving marks or scars.

7. Placing peppercorns inside furniture can prevent rats from entering; placing mothballs and tobacco leaves can prevent woodworms and cockroaches.

8. Furniture should never be washed with alkaline water or boiling water . High-concentration alcohol, banana oil, or boiling water should not be placed on solid wood furniture to prevent damage to the paint surface.

9. If the paint layer on the furniture surface gets stained with alkaline water , wash the stain with mild soapy water immediately, then rinse with clean water. After it dries, polish it once with furniture wax.

10. It is best to apply a coat of clear varnish to furniture every few years to maintain its fresh color and durable shine.
