Although different flowers require different pruning methods, the general principles of pruning are the same, and you can follow these points:

1. Prune parallel branches
2. Prune away excessive overlapping branches.

3. Prune away multi-headed branches, removing weak ones and keeping strong ones.
4. Prune away any excessive branches sprouting from the base.
5. Prune away excess or overly old branches to encourage the growth of new shoots.

6. Thin out buds: Remove the weaker buds from a multi-headed flower stalk in a timely manner to concentrate nutrients on the plant.
7. Root pruning: When repotting, prune away rotten roots, excessive old roots, and weak roots.
