If you want your flowers to grow rapidly and bloom every day, all you need is a pair of scissors!

Other people's flowers always have bigger and more vibrant colors.

Flowers bloom every year

My own flowers always grow into small seedlings.

What exactly happened?

Today, I've summarized some methods for you.

Make your flowers grow rapidly and overflow their pots!

1. Thin out flower buds to make the flowers larger and more colorful.

Camellias and peonies are known for their tendency to prioritize flowering over fertilization. Too many flowers deplete the plant's nutrients, weakening it and resulting in smaller blooms. A particularly noticeable consequence is leaf drop after flowering. To ensure large, vibrant blooms, bud thinning is essential.

1. This pot of Eighteen Scholars has a particularly large number of flower buds.
2. If the two buds and one bud are too close together, one bud needs to be cut off.

3. The flower buds hidden in the middle can be cut off as needed.
4. The lower, shorter, weaker branches don't need too many flower buds either.
5. Small flower buds are also starting to appear at the tips of the summer shoots.
6. The area where the flower buds were cut has already scabbed over.

2. After pinching off the tips of the flowers, they will bloom profusely.

Spring is the perfect season to plant flowering plants, such as petunias, marguerites, pansies, and lobelias. To encourage them to bloom profusely, pinching and pruning are essential!

1. Pinching back the tips 2-3 times during the seedling stage.

When the seedlings grow to about 8 centimeters, the first pinching should be done. Pinching means pinching off the tender bud at the top.

One week after removing the heart:

2. Second-third topping

After the first pinching, it needs to be pinched 2-3 more times before flowering. Generally, the central 2 pairs of leaves are pinched off, leaving 4 pairs of leaves. Each time a branch grows 6 pairs of leaves, the top 2 pairs are pinched off, and so on.

3. Pruning the top of the flower will encourage lush growth.

Many people's money trees are bare and look quite unsightly. Only by pruning the top to encourage the growth of more side branches can they become more lush and leafy.

Topping method:

1. Cut off the branches of the money tree, as shown in the picture.
2. You can apply some wood ash to the cut area.
3. Small buds will sprout after one month.
4. Soon the money tree will be able to grow lush and leafy again.

4. Pruning the flowers promotes a fuller plant shape and faster growth.

Many plants will absorb nutrients from their old and weak branches if they are not pruned. Therefore, pruning in spring can maintain the plant's shape and prevent excessive nutrient consumption.

1. Keep the strong and discard the weak; keep the high and discard the low.

2. Stretch the main branch horizontally to encourage the growth of lateral branches.

You can use a wire or rope to hold one end of the branch and weigh down or tie a heavy object to the other end.

3. Breaking off a branch.

Breaking off relatively thin, long branches will cause new buds to grow, promoting the sprouting of new shoots.

Break the branch in the middle. New buds will grow from the base about a week after breaking it.

5. Pruning the roots of flowers promotes vigorous growth.

An overly large root system can absorb too many nutrients, thus affecting the plant's flowering. To avoid this, we need to prune the plant's root system to reduce nutrient consumption.

1. Remove the orchid from its pot.
2. Clean the soil off the roots.
3. Trim rotten or damaged roots.
4. Disinfect the root system by soaking it in a carbendazim solution.
5. Orchids prefer loose, well-draining soil.

Therefore, it's best to use granular planting materials!

6. Carefully place the orchid into the flowerpot.

Fill the pot with soil, compact it by hand, water it, and place it in a cool, well-ventilated place to allow it to acclimate for a week.
