How to arrange your own bookshelf depends on your personal needs and knowledge accumulation.

If you don't have time to take care of it, of course you should put the books you need to read and use most often in the most conspicuous place in the bookcase where it is easy to take out and put back. If you have time and like to put the books in a more orderly manner, then put them together according to the collections and series. Then put the books of the same size together, so that it looks neat and uniform, and at a glance it is a beautiful book wall. Many book lovers jokingly call this "building a wall."

The level of wall-building skills depends on the time you spend on arranging and organizing and your personal aesthetics. If you have time, like to organize, and have some knowledge about book classification, you can organize the books in an orderly manner and easily find any book you need.

I used to work as an assistant administrator in a school library, and I learned some knowledge about the classification and placement of books in the library. Each book has a book index number in the in-print cataloging>
