To cleverly remove grease from window screens, dissolve laundry detergent and cigarette butts in water, then use the solution to wipe glass windows and screens – it works well.
  Unused lotions and creams shouldn't be thrown away; use them to clean bags (leather or imitation leather). They'll look brand new after just one wipe.
  Flat cola can be used to clean toilets; pour it in, wait 10 minutes, and flush. You'll find your toilet bowl white and clean.
  Mentholatum oil removes stains, especially ballpoint pen marks, with a quick wipe.
  Use vinegar to clean faucets and stainless steel sinks; they become dull over time, but this method will restore their shine.
  Use nylon stockings to clean stainless steel utensils – effortless, effective, and guaranteed to look brand new.
  If you accidentally spill oil on your clothes, before washing, keep the garment dry, apply dish soap to the oil stain, rub it a couple of times, and then wash – the oil stain will be gone.
  Using toothpaste and a toothbrush to brush tarnished silver items will make them shine again.
  For clothes with mildew spots, apply toothpaste to the affected areas, let it dry, and then wash; it will come out clean.
  When washing pure white clothes (not off-white), add a tiny bit of blue ink to the water before rinsing; the water will turn a pale blue, and the clothes will appear whiter. Wrapping
  white sneakers in tissue paper when drying them will make them whiter.
  Spraying white vinegar on a cutting board and letting it sit for half an hour before washing will kill bacteria and remove odors.
  For clothes with bloodstains, regardless of fabric quality, apply face cream to the stains, leave for 10 minutes, and then wash with soap or laundry detergent.
  Tea stains on cups can be easily removed by applying toothpaste and brushing.
  Before washing clothes in summer, soak them in warm water with a little floral water, especially brightly colored T-shirts. Soak them for a while to maintain their color and leave them smelling nice.
  For dark-colored clothes that might fade, soak them in water with a little salt for half an hour before washing to prevent color bleeding.
  Clean the inside of the freezer compartment, then apply cooking oil to a cloth and wipe the inside evenly around the edges. This will make defrosting much easier; the ice will come off easily.
  Soak a new iron pot in rice water for at least one to two hours. This will make cooking much better; food won't stick and there won't be a metallic smell.
  For suction cup wall hooks or racks, apply a little salad oil evenly to the suction cups before pressing them firmly against the wall for a more stable hold.
  Don't throw away heavily soiled scouring pads (the kind with fine steel wire). Heat them over a flame; the grime will crumble and fall off, making a fresh scouring pad.
