This also means many diseases are becoming increasingly prevalent... Every winter, respiratory illnesses, skin diseases, and cardiovascular diseases tend to appear. If you unfortunately contract one, it can often be difficult to cure. Early prevention is key to avoiding the clutches of common winter ailments.

  ① Respiratory system diseases, such as colds, rhinitis, pharyngitis, etc.

  1. Common cold

  Winter colds usually have a rapid onset, and most patients may experience symptoms such as nasal congestion, runny nose, dry and sore throat, cough, headache, and fever. The cough often lasts for a long time. If the condition progresses, it can develop into tracheitis, bronchitis, or even chronic bronchitis.

  Prevention methods:

  In addition to keeping warm, exercising regularly, drinking plenty of water, and ensuring good indoor air circulation, the following points should also be noted to prevent colds in winter:

  a. Avoid overeating; eat more vegetables, fruits, lean meat, eggs, and legumes, and less oily food; drink plenty of water to dilute toxins in the blood.

  b. Regularly sun-dry and wash clothing, bedding, and pillows, using sunlight to disinfect and prevent the growth of viruses;

  c. Soak your feet in hot water every day, as hot as you can tolerate. The water must cover your feet completely, and your feet should turn red after soaking. It is best to soak your feet for more than 15 minutes every day, which is very helpful in preventing colds.
