"The Great Way is Simple" is the wisdom of being a human being. To turn a complex thing into a simple one requires wisdom. To turn a complex thing into a simple one requires wisdom, ability, and determination. Wise people like the Great Way to be Simple. Therefore, fame and wealth should not be pursued; fame and wealth should not be burdened by them. Being indifferent will make one's ambition clear, and being calm will lead to a long-term goal. We should be simple in life, do things in a down-to-earth manner, and use wisdom to turn difficulties into simple things.

For fame and fortune, throw away all favors and disgraces, pure like the innocent virginity of childhood, simple like the fertile soil cultivated by our parents, only those with a calm mind can see the leisure of "the setting sun shines on the village, the cattle and sheep return to the alleys", hear the natural sound of "the lotus wind sends the autumn air, the bamboo dew drops clear sound", and feel the emptiness of "no one is seen in the empty mountain, but the sound of people's voices is heard". Tao Yuanming is such a person, so he can chant the quatrain "picking chrysanthemums under the eastern fence, leisurely seeing the southern mountain"; Ouyang Xiu is also such a person, so he can still leisurely write "The Pavilion of the Drunken Old Man" when he was exiled.

The old Taoist priest: "Before attaining enlightenment, when I was chopping wood, I was thinking about carrying water, and when I was carrying water, I was thinking about cooking. After attaining enlightenment, chopping wood is chopping wood, carrying water is carrying water, and cooking is cooking." The conversation between the old Taoist priest and the traveler enlightens us that many of the highest and most profound truths are contained in some extremely simple ideas.

Let go of everything and be free; let go of the moment, be free in the moment. Many problems in life do not need to be kept in mind, and many burdens in life do not need to be carried on the shoulders. Only by letting go of a thought can you feel the joy of simple life and the pleasure of flying in the soul. If you want to change something, you must first find yourself. We all have potential energy, but it is easy to be covered by habits, blurred by time, and consumed by inertia. We should remember what we should remember, forget what we should forget, change what can be changed, and accept what cannot be changed. We should face the past with the least regret, face the present with the least waste, and face the future with the most dreams.

The way of heaven and earth is simple. Life is short, don't make things too complicated, just live simply. Once the curtain of life begins, no matter how nervous you are, you have to play to the end of the play. Live a simple and happy life like a child, keep your heart original, and everything will be beautiful.
