When decorating a new house, I believe every owner wants to make his or her home the warmest and coziest, and move all the good things into the house. 1. Decorative ceiling

It costs a lot of money to install a suspended ceiling, but in fact, it is really unnecessary to spend this money. Installing a suspended ceiling will lower the floor height, making the sense of space depressing, and no one will go out of their way to appreciate the roof of the house. It is better to save money and do a good job of decoration.

2. Wine cabinet

In recent years, it is very popular to build a wine cabinet in the sideboard, but people who really know wine know that wine storage requires high humidity and temperature. Such a wine cabinet cannot store wine and is useless. I installed one at home, and was ridiculed by my friends who know wine. I wanted to smash it instantly.

3. Central air conditioning

Central air conditioning is almost one of the first choices for homeowners to decorate their homes. I also installed it in my home, but I regretted it after living there for a while. In the summer, when I am alone at home, I have to turn on the air conditioner in the whole house, which is a waste of electricity. Every month, the electricity bill alone is overwhelming.

4. Fresh air system

Those who have high demands on quality of life can install a fresh air system. If you are not wealthy, you'd better forget it. It will not be of much use and is quite expensive.

5. Pull-out faucet

The pull-out faucet was indeed very convenient when my family first used it, but it became less flexible over time. In addition, the water pipe groove easily accumulates dirt and requires frequent cleaning. It is not as convenient as installing an ordinary faucet.

6. Solid wood furniture

Solid wood furniture is generally not cheap, and it takes a lot of effort to maintain it. I have to wipe the redwood stools in my house with alcohol every week. I get angry just thinking about it, but I can't bear to throw them away. I really regret buying solid wood furniture.

7. Mosaic tiles

Mosaic tiles only look good in photos, but they are a pitfall when installed at home. The densely packed small squares make the whole space look very small and depressing, and there are so many seams that they will become dirty if not cleaned for a day.

8. Tatami

Many people think that tatami beds are practical, but only after installing them do you realize how bad they are. Not only are they uncomfortable to sleep on, but the cabinets underneath will easily get moldy if they are not properly ventilated and dry. If the cabinets get moldy, they are basically scrapped. They are also difficult to move around. I regretted it so much after installing one in my home.

9. Wall-mounted toilet

Wall-mounted toilets have become popular in recent years. Although their design and practicality are first-class, they always feel awkward to use, and I feel uneasy when using the bathroom.

10. Bunk beds

When I bought the children's bed, I thought that the upper and lower bunks would save space and have multiple functions, but I forgot that children can be very naughty and jump up and down all day long. It scared me, so I immediately took apart the upper and lower bunks of the children's bed.

11. Tile walls throughout the house

When decorating your home, you only need to cover the bathroom, balcony and kitchen with tiles. Don't cover the entire wall of the living room with tiles. Not only will it be expensive, but it will also make the whole house look cold and uninviting, especially in winter. It will be like living in a basement and you will shiver even when you turn on the air conditioner.

12. Carpet

Try to avoid having carpets at home. They do look nice and comfortable at first, but the fur will get dirty after a couple of days, and will be very unsightly when twisted together. Also, carpets are generally made of fur, which easily breeds bacteria. They become really dirty when stepped on every day.
