1. Chelsea Herb Garden

Known as London's Secret Garden, this oasis is hidden on the banks of the Thames and is home to 5,000 different species of plants. Plus, they open the garden until 10pm throughout July and August.

2. St. John's Church Gardens

The Garden of St. John’s Lodge

Myddelton House Gardens

With an impressive eight acres of grounds, this beautiful garden was created in the late 19th century by Edward Augustus Bowles, one of Britain's most famous self-taught gardeners and botanists. The garden features a lake, a Victorian glasshouse and is well worth a look.

5. Kew Gardens
