Be careful not to get "couch sickness"!
Aliang is never too lazy to go out after work and always stays at home playing with his phone and computer. Last time he was on vacation, he lay on the sofa at home for several days. Friends and family said he was just a fat homebody! He didn't take it seriously, but he suddenly got sick recently. At first he thought it was a cold, but he had a fever for a long time and went to the hospital for a check-up. The doctor concluded that he had "couch disease" based on his work and rest and living habits.
Doctors say that people are getting lazier and lazier nowadays. They don’t like to exercise and just stay at home on the sofa and surf the Internet all day. Over time, they will get “couch sickness”! Its symptoms include muscle aches, weakness in the limbs, dizziness and headache. People often think it is a cold or fever at first, but it takes too long to recover. If you don’t change this lifestyle habit for a long time, “couch sickness” will cause great damage to your body.
First of all, if you want to prevent "couch sickness", it is best not to choose a sofa that is too soft! This kind of sofa will make the center of gravity unstable. People will feel back pain and fatigue after sitting for a long time. At the same time, sitting on a soft sofa will make it difficult for the spine to maintain a normal physiological curvature. Not getting up and walking around often will cause back muscle tension and induce or aggravate back pain.
Secondly, the sofa should be comfortable to sit on.
The length, width and height of a sofa should be ergonomically designed, so you should pay attention to the following when purchasing a sofa: the appropriate sitting height is equivalent to the height of the knees; secondly, the depth - when we sit back at the back of the sofa as far as possible, the knee joints of a normal person should still be outside the sofa surface; finally, the angle of the sofa. If the angle is too large, it will be uncomfortable to lean on, and your neck will become sore after a while.
Finally, don't use your sofa as a bed.
It is not suitable to sit on the sofa for a long time, and it is even more unacceptable to sleep on the sofa! If you lie on the sofa for a long time with improper posture, the sofa will exert some abnormal pressure on the muscle tissue, which will cause muscle pain over time, especially for growing teenagers, and will also affect bone growth.
