America on the tip of your tongue, what are some American delicacies?

American cuisine, however, is not about refinement, but about convenience and speed, not luxury, and is more accessible. All three meals a day are relatively casual. It's characterized by its unadorned, down-to-earth approach, using fresh ingredients without additives or seasonings, preserving the food's natural flavors, and meticulously prepared. In most areas of the United States, vegetable vendors are only available on weekends; at other times of the year, they're completely absent. One person has to drive far to buy groceries, bring them back, and store them in a refrigerator, feeding the whole family for a week. The United States is a highly industrialized country, with much of its food being canned and containing several times more preservatives than in other countries. This explains why the average life expectancy for Americans is similar to that of developed countries, at over 70 years old. Pork is incredibly cheap in the United States, costing just over $1 per pound, thanks to government subsidies.

1. Big Gnaw. Big Gnaw is one of the most creative native American foods. It starts with a turkey, then stuffs a duck inside it, then stuffs a chicken inside the duck, and finally stuffs the chicken with sausage and bacon. It's deep-fried for two to three hours, and this very American dish is ready. Some American dishes are just that, and some Americans add melted cheese to suit their taste. This dish is typically served on major American holidays, like the Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

2. Buffalo Wings. Buffalo wings are made by deep-frying chicken wings until crispy and then dipping them in melted blue cheese. The vegetables at the bottom of the plate absorb the oil from the chicken wings, transforming even ordinary vegetables into something delicious. This dish is both light and flavorful!

3. Cobb Salad. After eating so much greasy food, even the most fried-food-loving Americans will feel satiated, so a salad is the perfect way to go. However, American salads are completely different from the greens and tomatoes enjoyed by Europeans. When Americans make salads, they always prioritize a variety and generous portions of meat, as well as avocado and cheese. A good Cobb Salad consists primarily of bacon, fried chicken, avocado, diced eggs, blue cheese, and anything else you can think of.

4. Ice cream. In 1937, Ruth Grave from Massachusetts added chopped chocolate to her butter cookies, creating the world's best cookie. While cookies are a popular staple in American life, Americans are always looking to take this delicacy one step further. Later, one man's laziness led to the creation of chocolate chip cookie ice cream. This involved cutting the pre-mixed cookie dough into small pieces and mixing it into ice cream. This became Chocolate, Chip, CooKie, Dough, Cream!

5. S’mores. S’mores are very popular in the United States. They use British Grahams and Crackers as the biscuits. If they were just biscuits, they wouldn't be eaten in the US. American children often put a piece of gummy candy in the middle of a picnic, thread it on a stick, and roast it for fun, but they rarely eat it. Later, a new way of eating it was invented: putting a piece of cinnamon in the middle and eating it together, and Americans loved it.
