01. Lazy sofa

Nowadays, many people put a lazy sofa on the balcony when they buy furniture.

Home bloggers put lazy sofas at home mainly for decoration and embellishment, which can make the home more layered.

But for ordinary people like us, lazy sofas are really not practical.

A good quality lazy sofa will cost at least several thousand yuan, but the chances of it being used after purchase are relatively low.

After all, there is already a sofa in the living room, so there is really no need to put another lazy sofa in it. It will just take up space in the house.

A cheap lazy sofa only costs a few hundred dollars. Although it is cheap, it breaks down after a while. The quality is really poor!

So if you want to buy furniture, there is really no need to buy a lazy sofa, it is not practical at all.

02. Island

I find that more and more families like to put an island in the kitchen.

I have to say that the island counter is indeed very high-end and beautiful, and it looks classy when placed in the home, but not all families are suitable for an island counter.

If the kitchen is relatively small, putting up an island will make the entire kitchen appear very crowded, and you may not be able to turn around when cooking.

To be honest, island counters are more suitable for families with large homes or open kitchens and dining rooms.

Compared with ordinary dining tables, island counters are also very expensive. An island counter costs at least tens of thousands of yuan. If your budget is insufficient or your home is small, you should never choose one.

03. Chest of drawers

I find that many people now like to put chests of drawers in their bedrooms.

If there is space for a chest of drawers after placing the bed in the bedroom, you can actually put a chest of drawers in it to store items in the bedroom.

However, if the aisle space is small after placing the bed, there is no need to put a chest of drawers.

Because chests of drawers are limited in storage space but are very expensive, it actually doesn't matter whether you buy them or not. Many families use them as dressing tables. If you already have a dressing table at home, there is no need to buy a chest of drawers.

It is more appropriate to choose a chest of drawers only if there is enough space, sufficient budget, and there is no dressing table at home.

04. Rattan Chair

Nowadays, many people like to buy rattan chairs when buying catering.

People choose rattan chairs because they are beautiful and can be used as dining chairs or placed on the balcony.

A set of rattan chairs is not cheap, it costs at least several hundred yuan, but its practicality is really low!

My family bought a rattan chair some time ago, but after we got it home, we left it on the balcony for a long time and it was completely unusable due to the sun. Moreover, if the house is humid, it is very easy to get moldy and damaged.

Not only that, rattan is particularly easy to hide dirt and grime. If it is not cleaned regularly, bacteria and dirt will spread everywhere.

Therefore, when choosing a chair, it is best not to choose a rattan chair. It has too many disadvantages and is really not practical.

The rattan chairs my family bought half a year ago are now all scrapped. Now I think about it and I really regret it. I might as well have bought ordinary chairs.

05. Open bookcase

I found that many families particularly like to buy this kind of open bookcase, or build a wall of bookcases when decorating their homes.

If you haven't decorated your home or chosen furniture yet, I advise you not to make this kind of open bookcase.

When I was choosing furniture after renovating my house, I bought an open bookcase. I originally thought that I could use it to store the books in my home, but I regretted it less than half a year after I brought it home.
